In a first, DU holds test in all div cities
In its first test in their history of 100 years, Dhaka University (DU) has conducted an admission test across the eight divisions, which included the capital yesterday. DU officials said that it was done in order to ease the stress and costs of travel for examinations and also to reduce risks to health from the pandemic. The one and a half-hour test for the "Ka" unit, designated for applicants to the science group for the undergraduate degree started at 11am in all centers. On average, there were 45 students competing for each seat, according to sources. The examinations were conducted in 79 centers in Dhaka. The locations that were located outside Dhaka are Chittagong University, Rajshahi University, Khulna University, Bangladesh Agricultural University in Mymensingh, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in Sylhet, Barishal University, and Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur.
